About Dr. Mehta
Dr. Amitoj Singh Mehta feels blessed and loves being an orthodontist. His passion is to strive to provide the best orthodontic treatment for his patients, which motivates him to do what he does wholeheartedly.
Dr. Amitoj Singh Mehta feels blessed and loves being an orthodontist. His passion is to strive to provide the best orthodontic treatment for his patients, which motivates him to do what he does wholeheartedly.
His motto is to develop a one-on-one relationship with his patients, creating partnerships that work together to meet the orthodontic goals. He believes in tailoring the treatment to the patient’s needs and expectations, which vary from using clear brackets to conventional brackets to Damon braces and Invisalign treatments.
Dr. Mehta completed his dental education in India and he attended the University of Illinois at Chicago to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He then completed his orthodontic residency program at UIC, obtaining his specialty license in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics there. Dr. Mehta is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Illinois Society of Orthodontics, and American Dental Association.
Dr. Mehta enjoys spending his leisure time with his family and friends. He also enjoys traveling, playing cricket, and watching basketball. Occasionally he likes to try his hand at culinary experiences. He also strongly believes in giving back to society and has participated in the Mission of Mercy program.
